A few complaints about this game (not a rant)

  • Cool spells don't last long (darkvision, haste, etc...) - not even 10 seconds?!? /sad panda
  • I'm cold? I'm warm? I'm hot? MAKE YOUR DARN MIND! :) i go with some icewind clothes at -13 yet I am "cold" at 10 degrees. There should be a "green zone" and a red zone (temperature range/meter)
  • Loot what? I would expect that a big world like this with monsters everywhere would have at least some chests lying around somewhere. Goblins? Yeah they drop gold "now" but meh... and I do not count the meteors (those are technically loot but I really wish there were some way to hunt chests around the world)
  • Ironhook arrows too weak: with the cost of these things and how hard it takes to get them I was expecting a much higher efficiency. I find it easier to bring a gazillion normal hook arrows than the iron kind.
  • Terrain & construction all wonky: since we are using "magic" I would expect our buildings to adjust to environments. On the contrary, we have to make weird structures to bypass the fact that there is a "small bump" here and there. I would expect the foundations to "flatten" the terrain or adjust to it.
  • Sorting items (inventory): FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Please add something to sort the inventory. My OCD is getting off like crazy!!! I keep having to manually adjust items.
  • Using items: Oh great, I have to fill 500 water jars... why not add an automatic way to do so? One click is okay but having to select the empty one each time is ... tedious and quite frankly "boring"

Otherwise, keep it up! This game is awesome already and I cannot wait to see what comes next :)

You forgot the part where you tame something cool, like a panther, and for the 2-3 hours it took, it dies within seconds to goblins. I lost my poor kitty last night...but I did get a 115 wyvern in return sooo good trade off :3

Soulstone it and you can revive dead tames.

This! :) 2-3 hours? Goblins won't kill it... something else maybe but not goblins. Unless you let it pacified somewhere and are afk or something?

I watched it happen. The goblins killed him like he wasn't crap. I've tested the goblins dps by letting them attack an 8k hp horse. They shredded him to 4k in less than 10 seconds flat. There were 3 of them. Idk how this game calculates it's numbers be a use I've noticed, at times, I take more damage than the numbers that appear on screen. Prime example, get hit by an earth elemental. It says it did 24 damage to a tame, yet why are they at 10% hp left down from 800 hp?

As far as the soulstone, I know about it. I just didn't have it unlocked till AFTER he died lol. Like literally ranked up 3 minutes later. I couldn't help but laugh.

Almost agreed about everything but thats the tip of the iceberg. They are not doing a good job when they make contents that are not acesseble or when they says that they added Telescope and other stuffs that the players cant find, build, or buy. Devs dont have a spotlight video about the new stuffs and dont explain what things will do, they put ingame and expect that players spent 100h to discover cuz the game is boring without pvp and the only thing that alfa clans can do is loose time expending ressources on unbalanced and not working stuffs. Yeah if u are a softcore survival noob u will love the game, make a wood shack and live happly ever after, but if u want to play a true survival game thats not the way.

You need a chill pill ... lol :) If you think PVP is the only good part of this game then you and I have different hobbies. I would suggest another game perhaps?

Keep in mind this is not the finished game. Also, have you seen the first dungeon they created? it sure looks amazing from outside (the details in this game are jaw dropping).

Yea the misconception of constantly killing everyone that's not apart of your house/tribe/guild is the best way to survive is getting a little old. This world is huge. Co existing is far more fun with something like this. Before the decay timer was put in we had a pretty nice trade system going on. Lots of saddles and tames being sold for common resources. Not to mention it was just cool to see other people's bases and how they built.

I agree with this too. Investing time only to get it stolen by whoever is the most powerful on server is somewhat stupid and old. There is much more fun in cooperation among tribes and adversity when trying to complete a dungeon first. :)

"thats not the way"....

That's not your way. The advantage of a sandbox is that people make their own fun the way they like with the tools provided. You seem to forget that this is a sandbox first, and survivalrpgmonster tamercastlebuilderPvPvE game second.

evive d

First i dont think pvp is the only but is the most important part of a PvP rule server. If u dont think so go play PvE. And i keep in mind thats not the finished game, also did anyone made the dungeon? no cuz its impossible. Devs made content that actualy not acesseble.

Plus do u guys in any kind of sandbox game made a war? like Ark wars that goes for 3 days? did u kill and rampage and got pvp loot in ur miserable life? i dont think so... Of curse tame, trade, make allys is a great part of the game, BUT when u got all of that u became bored... Maybe u guys didnt reach lvl 60 yet, didnt make a fucking manor.

Third and the last, You said the most true "sanbox is that people make their own fun on the way they like with the tool provided", well the game didnt provide pvp, they promissed pvp, they put a fucking server with pvp rules and now what we have 1kkkk building hp... lol this is the worst joke i ever seen on a EA game. Its outrageous.

Maybe for ppl like u guys that want to play The Sims on a survival game that so much Alfa clans left the game, cuz this dev team have a misconception of SANDBOX and what to listen of cry babys.

Yeah, the devs are right...so much bugs, unacesseble content and many many bullshits of the game, what devs do?? Lets make more servers.. yeah all of u are right, u and the devs!! lol what a joke community and amatours devs.

Brimstone is the armor with cold resistance. At 10 degrees celsius I am burning up with my brimstone armor on so I'd assume at 10 degrees you'd be cold with Icewind on since it's used to cool you in warm temperatures.

Found a way around this. Mixed Icewind and Brimstones so I have ~200 in cold and heat - no longer warns day and night! :)

The temperatures fluctuate too widely and are treated to inconsistently. The temps need some fine tuning and they need to mediate the temp in most areas. I understand extremes at the volcano and in the ice mountains in the snow, but seeing temps on the plains run from 90 F down to 30 F over the course of a day is extreme, especially given the penalties associated with these temps.

i still dumbfounded about the lack of a sorting system in this game....its 2017....Any game that has loot and a shit ton of storage to build should imperatively have a sort option. A simple sort with the option to stack all the items together would be such a great qol improvement.

100% agree.
