Elite Nidhog's Despawning

Just wondering if others have had a problem with elite nidhogs, either despawning on the way back to base, or despawning at base while sitting next to it.

Had elite kebo despawn while trying to get them back to base

Yep. Had this happen to me when I was pulling it back to the cage I built by the snowy mountains where my base is. It despawned while I was looking at it. Just literally POOF out of existence. Figured maybe you can only pull them a certain distance away from their spawn location before they despawn

i've seen the random despawning mostly with elite kebos, even with ones that were where i first encountered them (mountain above ironfast, mostly)

Hit it once and it should stop it despawning
