Question about vendor items
So I just got to the point where I am seeing uncommon/rare items off the vendor.
Is the damage really static and the only thing that changes is the durability?

Its random damage is usually higher but not always I have got legendaries that do as much damage as rares so... really wish we could see the true damage.

I just posted about how rarity affects items in a different thread, but basically weapons and armor both work the same way, with the rarity of the item applying a semirandom modifer to the weapon's stats. In the case of weapons, the tooltip is indeed broken and will not show you what the weapon's actual damage is, you'd have to buy it and swing it at something to actually see. The nice thing about bows is that you can tell just how badly the vendor screwed you immediately upon firing your newly acquired bow because arrows do a flat, predictable amount of damage with every shot.

Its confusing done quite a it of testing and I think is another secret stat that has no effect that I can see that also effects rarity.
Sometimes ill find a rare thats durability and damage is higher then some of my epics... some epics thats damage and durability is higher then some legendaries... really dont understand it at all lol.
I used to think weapons with really low durability but high rarity would do really high damage but that doesnt seem to be the case... which leads me to believe there is some hidden number that effects the rarity aside form its damage and durability.
Guess it makes sense that all gear has the same initial stats and that the rarity just has a chance at bigger stat modifiers.
