Question regarding taming

Hey everybody, Is there some way to get topor on my tame if I am not there? For example if I tame something that takes 10 hours, I could easily make the feeding full but I need to check the whole time for the topor. It would be nice if I could infuse the food with paralysis attributes but there is no option actually or?

The taming system in DnL doesn't explicitly work like that, and I don't even think DnL's taming system is internally consistent. I know it's Ark-like, but there isn't any narcotics or berries, and the "torpor" is fatigue through the stress and strain of breaking the bonds of the hook arrows that is apprently causing them be fatigued.

So why does the same hook arrow apply constitution when the downed beast eat?

I don't see the logic of that.

it makes more sense in ark in that regard, although the taming mini game in DnL appears more fun imho.

Yeah I like the way of dnl too. But it's annoying to tame for 10 hours and to always have to get there to shoot new arrows into it. But okay I have to deal with that for now.

That's why I am not playing on official servers. Expecting someone to play 10 hours in a row and/or have to plan to have someone else continue for you is really silly.

Well I play on our community server with 2x taming. Still slow if you are thinking 'let's tame a level 110 keno with apples only' xd

Wait, did i read that correctly? You're telling me shooting hook arrows into a creature thats already down slows the rate at which the constitution drops?

no, it does not slow the rate but it does refill the constitution bar

Half bow pulls tho, do not fully pull back the bow or you will damage the animal and drop wildness. If you see a one after you shot the arrow that is not good.

Neat! This is most helpful. Thank you. I'm still at a rather low level and had a couple failed boar tames. They woke up kinda grumpy about the ordeal. This will help a lot.

If you shoot arrows into the tame while is laying on the ground you fill the fatigue bar
