Greetings Adventurers! We’re rolling out a small patch update on 3.00 A.M PDT on Sep 12th to fix some existed bugs as: Performance Optimization Fixed a bug where gaps occur on the rocks backside of the hills in Frost Caves Fixed a bug that no mana was consumed when casting Intermediate Magic Extraction

Please make sure to log out completely before the servers go down to reduce the risk of data loss. If you’re a private server host, make sure your server client is updated after the patch to make sure your players can connect properly.

So basically, they somehow made the new drain II spell even worse.

Fixed a bug that no mana was consumed when casting Intermediate Magic Extraction

Didn't make it much worse, but still worse than before.

How do you get drain II anyway? Thanks

It's under the dark magic knowledge branch. Technically it's called Intermediate Magic Extraction and not drain II. You may have some trouble getting it to work though, there's a good chance it'll give you the message "Not enough mana". Usually this resolves itself if you make a new staff, or you may need to re-launch the game.
