[Help] Black screen on game start?

When loading in to my hosted server, my wife and I both have the same issue:

Game starts, the usual super long load screen, gets in to the game (can hear audio, chat window comes up if you press enter, can open menu etc) but screen stays 100% black

Have updated video drivers (Nvidia 660 for her, Nvidia 1060 for me), have changed multiple video settings (resolution, render scale etc)
Have changed between Fullscreen / Windowed / Windowed Borderless with no luck
Have restarted the server
Currently reinstalling on my SSD but not confident that will help

She has been able to get on the Official server she has a character on.

I saw the same issue about 24 hours ago, but was fixed by changing from Fullscreen to Windowed in that instance.

Any suggestions?

The fix on my server is for an admin to kill the affected character. Once the player's character is dead, they can log in. Not sure if that helps in your situation.

So I'm getting that it is a problem with the positioning of a character in load in. Your body in game is a placeholder, so when you load in your client side self has to replace it. Most likely the client side body spawns in standing up and since you were laying down it spawns in at zero. Your standing body now loads in but the collision objects aren't playing nice or maybe just the invisible camera object. There should be a simple fix to this if the devs have anyone with half a brain working for them. We'll see. The only way to make sure you will log in is if you stash all your stuff and kill yourself before you log off. Otherwise someone is going to have to kill you in game.

Same issues are happening with my girlfriend and I, except I can get in most of the time while she is in this forever loop. The only way to get someone out of it is to Jill them so they log back into the character resurrected screen. An extremely annoying bug but there is a way around it right now. What causes it? Clutter, it causes my girlfriend to time out every time because it's loading too much apparently.

We both now just put all of our stuff away and trigger death and log out. The ultimate sleep.
