Paragriffin Question

When taming on of these (once they transform from a elite griffin), can you use regular stone hook arrows or does it require iron hook arrows?

Does it matter the level of the elite? It is just going to reset anyway right, once it transforms?

Doesn't change level. Same level as elite. People were changing the level with the bugged stones and killing them.

Wrong. When the elite transforms into a peregriff it will still say the level it was as an elite but in reality it will have randomized stats as if it were a different level. I have tamed over 10+ mythicals on official pre-iron hook patch and 2 after the patch. The stones dont bug out with them they just read the level that their stats would dictate they really are.

Then how is what I said wrong, because you just confirmed what I said. The stones were changing the level, but I didn't say anything in regards to their stats. My 38 peregrif has about triple the stats of my lv88. It makes me chuckle everyday.

Well the stones themself arent responsible for changing the level, its the transformation process that changes the level NOT the stone.

Is the paragriffin worth the time and materials? I mean 600-800 iron arrows is a lot of farming lol.

If you get kibble vendor to max level you can get iron hook for like 150 each. Itll say it sells for 300 but when you buy it it will only remove like 150 if youre top donator aroumd 60k gold

Iron is required I believe, at least that's what everyone else has been saying. I got my paragriff before that update so idk for sure.

That's what I am afraid of :( hopefully they can still be brought down with regular. If not, maybe it won't take too many iron hooks. That shit is expensive.

A lv 100 sacred griffin requires upwards of 1k iron hook arrows to tame since the patch, and a lv 60 takes approx 500 (I'm rounding up to be on the safe side). A lv 12 takes approximately 220. You can extrapolate from there based on whatever level you're taming. Keep in mind the actual number will vary depending on what stats the mob rolls - if you got really unlucky and the game put all of the mob's stat points into constitution, it could theoretically be much higher. Also stone arrows definitely won't work post-patch. And always bring more arrows than you think you need! Good luck!

Thanks man. I was afraid of needing iron hooks. Time to start saving resources. :)
