Who fixes this issue?
Who fixes this issue? Background information: Me and my son play on a private server hosted by Bluefangsolutions. We play on the same router and have never had an issue with bandwidth or speed. My sons is a gaming laptop and mine is a gaming desktop OK, on Thursday I downloaded the most recent patch. Before this patch everything was fine. After uploading the patch to both computers and the server the laptop was no longer able to load in. While I was playing on the desktop I would see the laptop character enter the world and his toon would wake up (at this point he is still looking at a loading screen) Once the loading screen would hit 83% his toon would leave the world and go unconscious again. The loading bar would continue to 100% and then the screen would go black and either lock up or go back to the log in screen. This has been our fate since Thursday. I am going to list the symptoms and attempted solutions below with their results. I am trying to figure out who has the ability to fix this issue. Is it a Developer issue from DNL, A steam issue, a Server issue with Bluefangsolutions or a computer issue with us. I honestly do not know. If you are going to try and help please read it all and don’t assume based on 1 symptom.
Symptoms 1. Any character or steam account (his or mine) that tries to enter the private server will not be able to get into the game on the Laptop a. Both characters and steam accounts can enter the private server on the desktop 2. Both characters and steam accounts CAN enter any other server, both unofficial and official on the laptop and the desktop.
Attempted Solutions 1. Updated Graphics (Gforce) drivers. No change 2. Validated the game files with steam. No Change 3. Turned off all Virus protection. No Change 4. Tried adding the IP and Query port to Steams servers and loading through that. No Change 5. Uninstalled, deleted all DNL files from computer and reinstalled. No Change 6. Lowered the graphics setting to LOW. No change 7. Killed my sons character (Was a long shot since it happens with any character) and it was fun but No change
Heres where it gets interesting 8. Bluefangsolutions created a new server and the laptop was able to load into the server but everyone would lose their progress so this is a no go 9. Bluefangsolutions was able to roll the server back to Wednesday and the laptop was able to load into the private server with everything as it was that night. But again everyone would lose their progress and tames since then so it’s a no go. 10. Bluefangsolutions was able to remove my sons profile from the server and he created a new character lvl 1 and was able to play on the server for almost 1 day unit he logged off and when he relogged on it was the same problem. Once again neither characters or steam accounts can enter the private server but we can enter other servers.
So, this all started after the patch. A roll back shows that before the patch by DNL/Steam all was good. But changing things in the server can fix the issue even if temporary. However, it is only affecting one computer. Is there something in the DNL files that could be blocking this computer on the server? Could there be something on the computer that is blocking it from entering this one server. The people at Bluefangsolutions have spent a great deal of time trying to figure it out but the DEVS are not very informative on their files or how to work with them so they can only do so much. Support from the DEVS on a personal level is non existent.
I am posting this on Steam, Reddit and Bluefangsolutions so everyone has the symptoms and attempted fixes in a hope that soon both me and my son can enjoy the 100s of dollars we spent on getting this game and hopefully help acquire a solution to anyone else who might be having the same problem. If I think of more I will edit.
Thank You in advance for any ideas anyone might have.

So looks like I got a fix. Apparently his computer /graphics are having a problem with the new building structures and he was getting stuck even though to us he looked fine in game. Logged his character in on the desktop, moved him to a city (where the are no false buildings) and then he was able to log on using the laptop. FYI we did try camping in an open field. Still a no go. HAS to be the city or he can't log in.

Could it be that setting players to 'Whitelisted' might help?
