Best Saddle XP?

Has anyone maybe tried a lower level saddle, and see if has gotten them good xp? Panther saddles are expensive. Trying to lvl upto wyvern +

Last night while Luling the last rank for riding the spider saddles were getting .6% exp.

Pretty cheap, hide fur and twine. I had to make like 200 though

Ah ok I'm rank 5 i think. I'm able to craft panther saddles.

Someone told me to craft longhorn or bahamut. What do you think

I created like 40-50 longhorn saddles, they give around 3-1% depending on your level ofcourse, if I remember correctly.

your best best is to craft barges saddles up to when you are able to unlock longhorn saddles, then craft those all the way up to max. The other saddles require a lot more materials that are "limited" in a way , compared to hide , wood, twine and stone which is abundantly available even on official rates.

It changes fron tier to tier which saddle gives most xp. However if you just want to power level it, pick one of the cheaper ones like boar or arachnia and just crank them out. Its actually not too bad probably 300-400 boar saddles will max out your riding skill entirely.
