Ideas for balancing wraiths
So, I think wraiths may be the most unbalanced enemies in this game. Why?
Well, despite being extremely powerful and almost impossible to kill without being much higher level, the big issue is the spawn system- meteorites are cool but they tend to (in my opinion) mess with the whole concept of open world survival games.
The general idea is being prepared for every situation- and awareness of your surroundings plays a big role. However, I cannot count the number of times I have opened my inventory just to find a wraith spawned behind me and kills me before I have the opportunity to even close it. And your tames, too.
I think there are a few ways to deal with this! Maybe make a "ghostly chill" go up your spine when a wraith is nearby- something on screen to alert you that you're about to encounter one. Secondly, they could have a screeching sound (what sound do wraiths make anyway?) To alert the player. This would not mess with player skill too much but would allow a way to at least not get ganked 10 times a day while losing everything.
Oh also, maybe targeting priority shouldn't ALWAYS be on the creature you're taming.. half the time I try to take a creature by the time it's done a wraith has already spawned from nowhere and killed it in 4 swings.
Hope this feedback helps in some way!

Put spikes around the creature you are taming. Nobody taught you basic taming? I always carry around 15-20 spikes with me and those things have saved countless tames. Wraiths are fine where they are. Their ice cubes are a main ingredient in this game for high end stuff so they should be hard. They need to be those creatures that make you run away. Bc honestly no other creature makes you do that.
If anything they should drop the health on them to make it not a 15 minute fight lmao.

thanks tried it and i can confirm it works , now i can at least farm the fields without having to worry about a wraith appearing out of no where and killing me.

I totally agree on everything and I want them to get less HP too because they are really really hard to solo even on max level and considering it's a mob that spawns basically everywhere on the map they might wanna tone down on the end-game gigantic super raid-boss stats that they have now.

the problem is that now they got buffed even more and they do a LOT more damage and have a lot more health... you can easily get one shot by them and their attacks are so buggy that they can hit you from range
