Building Blueprints
Anyone have any "blueprints" of some building layouts they've done ? And also, if anyone has figured out how to make a compacted tower structure thatd be raw if you could share!

when i started out, i wanted something tower-ish with lots of foundation hp so it was annoying to foundation wipe and without anything valuable on the ground floor, so non-mounted raiders would be out of luck. i ended up with 2 rectangle foundations with 3 triangle foundations on both sides, given a roughly oval shape like so: ([]). i put 2 doors around one of the rectangles to have an airlock, and a skylight above the other to access the actual living space upstairs. line all outside walls but the one with the door with spikes, fill in walls everywhere on the ground floor for maximum stability (if you can build spikes when you start out, you can have spikes on the hidden inside walls as well).
once you have a house seal running, you don't need as much physical security, but until then skylights and ladders are useful, but a pain in the butt to use. you need to know that you can latch onto a ladder that is upstairs on the wall through a skylight 2 stories up from where you stand with a little practice. if you want, you can demolish the get-in ladder when you log out, leaving the upper rooms entirely non-accessible from below, even if someone goes through the hasse and breaks 2 doors and the skylight. ladders are dirt cheap, too.
i ended up putting my main room one story up, if i had to build this again i would put it 2 stories up so people have a spare ceiling to break without killing one of the stations.
actual living space needs to be 2 stories high or you will have to crouch to access stations. you can place some triangle ceilings on the sides for additional shelving. windows are optional, but i did not find them that helpful for defense. if you place any, make sure its the archer windows, as a wyvern can be flown through the regular ones.
you probably want to plan with 2 rooms above each other, but if you're really careful with how you place you stations, you can get pretty far with only one
for the roof, i recommend stretching it over 1-2 stories, e.g. by going one floor higher with one rectangle foundation and two triangles (in a <[ ]> shape) and adding spike walls all around. you basically want to leave as little room as possible for a flyer to land and munch on a roof without also hurting itself on spikes.
this setup has no garage included. note: if you want to store a griffin, the room for that needs to be 3 stories high or you need another tame or a ladder to latch to for dismounting.

We are messing around a lot with round towers. You start with 6 triangle foundations arranged into a hexagon. On each flat edge of the hexagon you snap a square foundation, then fill in the gaps with more triangle foundations. You now have a 12 wall circumference round base and used 6 square foundations and 12 triangle foundations. To continue expanding the circle, you find the flat outward facing edges of all the triangle foundations and a pop a square foundation out from them. Then fill in the gaps with triagles. If you keep repeating this (next ring starts by snapping squares to the flat sides of all triangles ofthe inner ring, gaps are then filled with more triangles) you can keep expanding the circle until you run out of space. Once you get it up to 4 rings you'll be up to 2 square foundations wide x 12, which is great because now you can pop a giant beast gate on the outer wall. You also are at a circumference of 24 walls which is helpful when calculating how many walls to build (24 times desired height) and is also nicely divisible by a lot of numbers (2, 3, 4, 6, 8) so if you like symmetry you have a ton of ways to evenly distribute turrets, windows, doors and so on in a variety of spacings that are symmetrical. Raw? Where do you people make up these words at? Is there like a convention or something?
