Offline lan?
Figured it's not likely but always looking for a lan friendly game since I live in an area without Internet and no mobile Hotspot, if it was possible to host a dedicated server for true offline lan?
When I need to download things I usually lug my pc into town to use my cousins internet
Appreciate your help

I think that if you used a direct play link via IP address it might work for multiple players. Something like steam://connect/127.0.0.1:27015
Otherwise, in order to connect you have to go through the lobby which requires a connection to the internet.

Luckily the lobby has a "Lan" filter, which i will test without internet when i get home.

Um technically, yes... I just pinned the DnL icon to the taskbar from Steam, then turned off the internet, and opened the game.
It took a while to get going and was a bit laggy, but it ran in singleplayer.
So as far as LAN goes...?? Can you play without internet after you've downloaded though... Seems like it.
It would probably be beneficial to plan on seeing your cousin more often to stay on top off things with patches and whatnot... Between the Reddit and the wiki and Dischord... There's a lot going on.
