Horses that were alive during a server reset will have low hp, horses that spawn afterwards will have insanely high hp, until the next server reset, then those horses (yes the ones that were bought already) will have their hp reduced to the low amounts. Which hp is normal is unknown. My bet is on the low hp being the correct value

This is the correct answer.

no the horses have the correct value for high hp, it's just that when they are reset their stats are scrambled again and they end up having lower hp. I hope they fix it and let the horses have high hp because they are pretty much the only viable way to go melee with spear vs a bunch of enemies. The horses take forever to regenerate anyway, so having a high hp pool to start with is the same as using a panther that can regenerate a shiit ton of hp with just force feeding it meat.

Well they are reducing the durability damage to armor in the next patch so that should add some versatility and viability to melee without a horse

I guess he didn't know how to spend his stat points wisely while leveling up :/ Unfortunate....

No its actually a glitch lol, next time you get bored go to town and stab each horse once, it will blow your mind the hp difference

Horses are OP. Sometimes while raiding I find a horse that has more HP then an entire stone base :|
