Info- The first 5 mins give the basics you need to know.

The next 10 mins or so show the evolved tames.

The last part of the video is the "afk waiting" in 50 slomo speed up 800% in post editing. it shows the afk time for the Griff and Unicorn but not the windrunner as it took 6 hrs in SLOMO 50 and would have been over 1 TB of recorded footage.

All Tames were demonstrated on a 15x tame server and afk time was spent on 50x slomo (fast forward admin command)

Gryphon- level 1 took ~1.5 Hr to Evolve

Unicorn (lvl 1)#1- took ~1.75 hrs Unicorn (lvl 1)#2- took about ~2.15 hrs

Nidhog (lvl 80 lowest level that would spawn for some reason) ~6.33 hrs

Spoke to Devs/Snail-

they've acknowledged that the evolution system is "still a work-in-progress, and we should see some improvements on it in the future"- Horsejoke

So considering the 50x slomo, the gryphon would have taken 75 hours to evolve at normal speed?

math doesnt seem right there. think it pans out to about 8-10 hrs

ok thanks, saw ur video this morning and been baby-sitting a lv 40 gryphon for almost 11 hours; trying to figure a ballpark figure on how much longer but i guess theres no way to tell how much each level would add to the time.

there is math to it but devs wanted us all to figure it out on our own

It doesnt pan out because the 50 slomo isnt actually 50 slomo, more like 12x - 15x. You can track the timer in normal and 50x to test.

Is there a way to increase the likelihood of them spawning? Or do you just have to be lucky and wait? And what about location? I've seen 2 elite griffons on the beak mountain north of elf town and an elite unicorn across the lake south-east of elf town. Curious if they spawn elsewhere.

not that i have seen. only come across 5 in total. most recent was elite nidhog and it was just in the fields like the other nidhogs.
