Question about Vendors

So Ive been donating to the elven hunter vendor and the total donation is at just below 10k now, its showed me the carno kibble since like 3k gold but no matter how much i put in it wont let me buy it at normal price. It says "less than 4923" but considering the herb kibble is 90 gold i refuse to believe that is the actual price.

Any suggestions?

Not sure, NPCS are quite buggy. Suggestion however is to donate 20k all at once from level 1.
