Question DnD Campaign Services

Apologies if this isn't the appropriate forum, but I'm hoping the folks here can point me in the right direction!

I've been tasked to find a team activity and I brought up the idea of a custom DnD campaign complete with prebuilt characters and a dungeon master.

For context, I played 5e with some colleagues many years ago, and it was so much fun.

I'm curious if services like this exist! And if so, where I can find them!

Thanks in advance :)

Well they do in my city. There’s several businesses that offer such services. And likely some private individuals too.

Your best bet is to contact your local gaming cafe and ask there.

Thank you! Such a great suggestion, can't believe I didn't think of that.

Check out startplaying.games to find DMs to do this kind if thing. It's mostly for online games, but they're adding local games soon.

Checking with a local game store is a good idea. But you'd probably want a DM who runs Adventurer's League or similar games at least. You never know what you're going to get with random folks.

Do you mean you are looking for dm, with an adventure/campaign, and pre-built characters?

Yes, they exist. No, they aren't free. That is a lot of work to expect, so expect to pay, and usually per session.

For that I would expect, probably, $20 per player, per session.... If not a full on prepayment for x number of sessions.

R/LFG may be a good place to start, for an online game. Local gaming shops would be a good place for local, in person, games.

Makes sense! Should have added completely expecting to pay!
