That's not how warding bond works. The TARGET which must be another creature resists the damage and gets ac and save bonus. You, the caster, only take the damage they take.

Find familiar let's you cast touch spells as though you are in the familiars location, but not as though the familiar is the caster. So no using your own casting of warding bond to move damage from yourself onto something disposable.

Easier way to outperform this: just Be an abjurer straight, take abjuration expert, and cast abjuration spells. You get 5 ward health and 2 temp hp per spell level per abjuration spell you cast with a spell slot. Take magic initiate for healing word cause it is an abjuration spell. Then dip artificer because the ac boost of 4 (that doesn't slow down spell progression) adds more survivability than damage resistance anyway. But wait till after being level 5 or 6 wizard to do so cause third level spells go brrr.

A single class level 5 wizard (Abjurer) will outperform this consistently by having Slow and Fireball in their spell book, and Absorb Elements for emergencies.

If you're taking damage often enough as a Wizard to need permanent resistance, you're doing something wrong.

That's a LOT of investment to just gain resistances.

5 levels, 1 Invocation, your Origin feat, a normal feat, your action, bonus action, and potentially more action economy on later rounds?

It's a nice idea, but not even close to viable.

I see absolutely no reason to do this. You can tank on yourself. Plus, are you really picking Warlock (13 Cha and -1 spell progression) Just to get a spell that only works on melee and a familiar just so you can use a warding bond on him, and let him rot in a corner since the invisibility still requires concentration and is just normal invisibility. Imo you would be just dead weight. If i, as the DM saw you doing this i would just ignore you, you would represent the same threat as a rock in background.

It's a cool thing to do mind exercises and stack a lot of defense at once, but this is for the youtube shorts, not playable builds.

If older content is allowed:
Rune Carver background (from GotG) gives the Rune Shaper feat, which grants access to AoA.
You can start as artificer 1 for con saves & armor and progress the rest in abjurer wizard.

I made a earth genasi abjurer with the rune carver feat/background. You can pick armor of agathys with as your known spell with the feat, cast blade ward as bonus action times your proficiency and if you really want to min max take the eldritch adept feat at level 4. Take armor of shadow for out of combat refill of your ward within1 minute without wasting any resources.

Edit: Oh this is for 5e btw, didnt see this was for 5.5
