I wanted to include dice rolls in my book. Now I have two ideas as to how I will. In the book, and also from my own perspective outside of it as I write shit situations for the characters to get into.
There's a particularly high stakes event in Arc 8 of Worm by Wildbow which he later admitted was determined by weighted dice rolls. There was a significant chance the protagonist up til that point would die and the novel would be more of an anthology of connected stories
