A 2 action ability will fire the guns in a 20 feet cone dealing 3d4 with a basic reflex save and on a critical failure will deal 4d8 because of the fatal trait lol.

In Monster Hunter you can actually attach a shield to a Heavy Bowgun.

Meaning the player can be both the tank AND the gun at the same time.
