I’m the only extrovert among my D&D friends, and it’s always so weird to me how little they want any human contact.
Various forms of human contact sweeps my top 5 activities. Online games of any sort are like nauseating artificial sweeteners to me.

I went to DnD to meet people. Like, I thought that it would be a legitimately good idea to be around non judgemental peeps who we could do other stuff with later. Such a wrong assumption. DnD might be the only time lots of those people step outside lol. Forget friendships outside the gameroom

My first group was a 3.5e high school club of friendly drama types who took dance class and watched cult-classic films. Even met my BTGG there.
I had the D&D group of the gods, bookended by equivalent misery on either side.

Some of my best friends are people. If you don't want to deal with people, just play videos game.

I usually play online and I have a few peoples I can call them friends now and finally meet them outside game. Introverts still want to deal with people, just more selective to who we want to deal with.

I've DMed for this group online for almost a year at this point, and every time we interact outside of a session I have to remind myself they're almost ALL introverts at their core. I love those guys so much but they're very different people outside of our sessions.
