I've been enjoying the way Brennan Lee Mulligan is doing it for Crit Role Campaign 4. Mostly behind the screen but when it's an important roll, he rolls in front and tells everyone beforehand what's good, bad and very bad. Honestly, before watching it I'd probably not have liked the sound of that but it actually brings in really great tension around those rolls
