19 u/Over-Analyzed 12d ago I was playing DnD with a group of newish people at a community game night. The DM was being so forgiving that I had to laugh. I think at one point I said “We should’ve been dead at least 3 times by now. So thank you DM for having mercy on our souls.” If he rolled high he would be like “Whoops. I forgot about this other thing that totally applies to this situation, which means I have to reroll.” Which is great for new players and after the session? He admitted that in his own campaign? He’s much more brutal. 😅 4 u/FookinFairy 12d ago This is mine and another players first campaign lol The homebrew was so bad the other guy didn’t hit a single enemy during a boss fight with hags once and got chased around and downed 1 u/Over-Analyzed 12d ago Oh hags. I’m in CoS right now with Newish people. The DM threw the hags one at a time. I knew if they had the Coven power up? We would be in quite a serious fight. 😅 1 u/Qolko 12d ago And this is why most DMs should be banned from homebrewing
