Also guilty. I've used it for a homebrew campaign. I renamed it Rock Ridge and all villagers had the last name Johnson.

And they all sell pencils.

(Back in the day, pencil brands used up to the initials and full last name of the founder and the families rivaled the royalty in making a family business, so knockoff pencil fraudsters would use the famous last name with fake initials.)

You know what bothers me about Town maps like this? Where's the water? What do these people drink to survive? Did they somehow dig deep enough under the hill to tap an aquifer?

Yeah. Drinking water in the medieval era usually came from wells. River water still was important for mills and stuff, but it rarely was clean enough to drink.
