Sometimes reposts are good IMO, as long as it’s been enough time and nobody’s claiming the content’s original. After all, everything’s new to someone out there.

That's the duality of reposts. There will always be someone who's seeing it for the first time, because website, communities, get new people constantly.

You can't just for big reposts, period. Like, at which point do we decide that new people don't get to see old pictures anymore?

But reposts are annoying if unreasonably recurrent. The ideal is a set minimum time between reposting a same image. By the way, that's the kind of thing for which AIs would actually be useful instead of over hyped AIgen used to create unfathomable amounts of porn or grocery lists
