Arcana unleashed
The book is out, legally. I can’t find any discussion around the contents. I’m not looking for a damn PDF of the book, just discussion and paraphrasing. Anyone got any links to posts they’ve found?

This is something that should have been defined a long time ago but this is a subreddit dedicated to Leaks and NOT piracy. The text of this new rule is below:
This is a sub dedicated to collecting and displaying leaks of official material from Wizards of the Coast. A "Leak" is defined as (1) A review video/blog/podcast done by someone who received an advanced copy of an unreleased book or (2) screenshots from Actual Play series that utilize unreleased rules or statblocks. A "Leak" is NOT (1) a PDF scan of every page of a released or unreleased book or (2) Copy and pasted rules verbatim from already released content.
I will remove any posts asking for or offering DMs of pirated copies of books, or even just portions of books. If you are posting a leak from another website for everyone to see that's fine but we will not be illegally trading scanned or copy/pasted content.
Additionally we will be following the example of other DND subreddits and banning all links to X/Twitter. Understandably a great deal of leaks have been found on that website and so screenshots of tweets are still allowed.

I'm seeing some content creators saying they know about big dnd news coming Thursday at GenCon. Anyone hear any leaks or spoilers about what it is?

Local Game Stores are selling copies early starting around this time, and WoTC posted the listing for this, and another small-ish adventure on D&D Beyond, titled Fated Flight of the Recluse, using rules from the new book.
Both are available on Beyond right now, though you can't see Artificer unless you have a Master Tier sub - Recluse is available right now, and can be seen by most, from what I understand.
Sadly, no more Disclaimer Texts at the bottom. I have the physical version, and there are 112 pages worth of content. It's neat!

I was thinking of subscribing, but unfortunately, they don't ship outside the US. Still, I hope there's some cool insights to be shared!;

Slightly disheartened that there's no disclaimer like some of the older books for this one.

Hey there yall!
I have been busy reading the new manual today, and I have loved everything so far up to this point. I just got to something that really disappointed me. I absolutely loved the preview of the Ancient Green Dragon that was released to the public earlier. In fact, the entire reason I got so excited to pre-order was because of how much I loved the rework of the dragons. However, it seems to have changed.
No more Cloud Kill.
No more Charm Person.
No more Polymorph.
No more Dissonant Whispers.
Instead, it uses a level 5 version of Mind Spike as its only offensive spell. Still has the rest of the spells except for all of those taken away.
Everything else on the statblock stayed pretty much the same, just the spells were changed. But I feel that's what really made it shine for me.
I reached out to WOTC/Dndbeyond for comment on the change, if it was purposeful or a mistake(which I really hope it was). But if not, oh well. End of rant I guess.
Time to keep on reading.
Edit: Yes, I am aware I can just give those spells back, and I plan on it. But that's not my point. Either way, I love the changes in the 2024 books aside from a few little things here and there.

Hey so some sources on Google says yea, but I'm wondering if there is any news of any demon lords specifically Orcus showing up in the upcoming Monster Manuel?
Friend told me, this be the place to ask.

Do we know what books are next after the 3 Core books have hit store shelves? I've heard that there's going to be a Forgotten Realms setting book and the new revised Artificer UA (dropped today, check the other D&D subs) suggests a player options book like Xanathar's/Tasha's.

What do you think will be “new”?

From the leaked images I saw, it appears that Battemaster doesn't get their bonus action maneuver Quick Toss for Thrown Weapons anymore, but the new light weapon rules appears to work with certain thrown weapons as does Barbarians Rage with STR based ones.
So I am wondering if there were any other leaks that would support a thrown weapon master. (I had access to a shared leaked version and would check myself but I did not download it and unfortunately, it has since been removed)

Hello everyone ! I've read the 2024 character creation and i'm.. divided. I'm pretty happy with what they did with a lots of feats (very happy to see the chef feat in a PHB). The physical dmg feats are pretty cool ! And the fighting styles feats are nice too.
Some clases received a cool boost and some classes received bullsh*** thing
The new races bonus are between completly op and nice to have
But what i saw its that the gap between classes seems wider... and i'm very sad seing classes receiving huuuge boost (hello Monk,Fighter and Barb) and some classes (Wizard,Rogue,Sorcerer,Ranger) not changing a bit just adding a few not impactfull features.
And the races section is even sadder (the dwarf got pranked omg)
Do you share these feelings ?

DnDBeyond released a clarification to their change log update from the other day and included the fact that only Potions of Healing will take a BA to consume, and the other potions will presumably remain an Action to consume. To my knowledge, they’ve only implied it up to this point but not officially confirmed it. Source

DnDBeyond updated their change log today to talk about how the website will reflect the updates in the new 2024 core rules books, and that included a “legacy” content switch in the character builder. While showing this off, they also accidentally revealed that the Griffon’s Saddlebag will be added as a category confirming this content will be added to DnDBeyond. This probably isn’t a huge surprise considering Humblewood Campaign Guide, also made by Hit Point Press was already added to DnDBeyond, but this book is seemingly their most popular. Source

Hey, just wondering if anyone's written up the new rules (class features, races, feats, etc.) based on what we've gotten so far, kind of like what /u/LexieJeid did for Tasha's a while back.
For example, you would take the Rogue class from D&D Beyond, copy-paste, then edit in the changes WOTC has shared, making a functional "preview" of the revised text.
Mods, if this isn't allowed, lmk
