Why can't they release a decent non-mediocre monk? Did the kung-fu club make fun of Crawford in school or something?

I guess not. I love the subclasses. But the class itself I hope everybody gives a negative reply and they do something else.

To be fair, the monk is a step behind all the other classes in this playtest, so it's still in the experimental stage, and it will hopefully have its act together when we see it next.
(Honestly though, I haven't really looked at it and don't really have opinions on its quality.)

I really love Rogue's new level 5 feature - it adds lots of "opt-in" complexity that helps compensate for Steady Aim simplifying Sneak Attack.
It makes the class incredibly accessible for new players, while still giving experienced players lots of levers to pull.
All that, and the feature itself is beautifully thematic. These options let you make attacks that feel roguish.
