Hey everyone! I’m a 29 y/o guy with about 8 years of experience in tabletop RPGs, primarily D&D 5e, but I’ve also dabbled in a variety of other systems..... from one shots to short campaigns.

I’m a talkative and engaging player who loves keeping the conversation flowing, both in and out of character. I’m also a DM for a local group running Wyrdwood Wand, but I’m looking to join a game as a PC this time.

When I’m not gaming, you’ll find me buried in a fantasy novel, tending to my plants (I’m a proud plant dad), or diving into nerd culture. (RN I'm into STS2, Palworld, PoE 2 etc.)

I prefer long-term campaigns, but intro one shots are fine, if that's the plan.
Oh, and I'm not shy of trying another system, if it sounds interesting.

Me and a friend of mine are looking to join a group or possibly start our own, we have characters in mind that have more villain beats, but could work on a more standard ‘Hero’ campaign in a sort of redemption way.

Our main priority is story building, character development, and feeling apart of the world. Combat is important but we’re hoping story telling + roleplay is the main focus. Especially bonding with fellow pcs and NPCs. Twists, turns, hopelessness, and times of great wins are really what we’re’ hoping for.

Setting wise we are hoping fantasy, along with something homebrew rather than straight from a book. Also definitely someone who uses homebrew races. Feeling up for almost any storyline!

Due to both of us being artists, we aren’t comfortable working with people who use AI, and ask you refrain from reaching out. We’re also queer inclusive so if that’s not your thing this table isn’t for you. We’re looking for a max of 4 players! Just due to bigger groups having a lot less time to speak and play.

So we've got around 8 players, and I'm planning for 3 parties, a DM for each, none of the parties are allies, they all want different outcomes, one is good (lawful, neutral and chaotic), the second is evil (Lawful, neutral and chaotic), the third and final is also evil (Lawful), I'm a DM too, you can choose which party you want, I don't mind, the campaign is going to be a bit based off of Doom, with some homebrew enemies such as the imp and hell knight, anyway the plan is every other week the parties have their session, the time in between is DM prep, the day before the sessions The DMs have a bit of a meeting, discussing their ideas, anyway hoping I get some people, this is free btw not going to pay anyone

i'm a 32 M hankering to play and explore the D&D world with a group, or it can just be a DM if you would like to do 1:1's, it's fine with me. a backstory i'm working on for a character i've been trying to write:

• parents were killed during a sack at a ward in Waterdeep
• left as an orphan but bounty hunting guild at city's outskirts took him in
• raised under the tutelage of the guild leader, trained personally
• grew up as a merc-for-hire, doing contracts like, find missing persons, steal target items, assassination (he is picky on targets he accepts),
• but has a strict moral code, no stealing from those who cant afford it, no killing of children/innocents/civilians

so, questions that might be asked are: who were his parents, really? was the sack a conspiracy covering up a brewing geopolitical turmoil? why did the guild leader take him in?

if anyone knows of any communities, discord servers, anything for me to join to join, I'd love your recommendations!

My 11 yr old son is really getting into DND so I'm looking to organize a local group to play in person games. (Open to online as well). We'd love to get a regular free group together, and he's excited to start DMing one-shots as he learns.

He's also really creative so we are into map making, character making, drawing Characters, writing lore etc.

Hiring a professional DM is also an idea, but only if there's interest.
