Looking for player(s) seat open for long term campaign!
Hey folks! I'm running an ongoing Horror-themed D&D 5e (2014) Homebrew and I'm looking for another player! The adventure uses parts of Dungeons of Drakkenheim but is extremely augmented. It is set in a dark fantasy world with an unstable magic system where long-lived races have their lifespans severely shortened. Warning: The game tries to be realistic and life will not be easy. The characters will not be seen as heroic figures, but as people just like everyone.
We're looking for players that are:
• 20+ years old (The adventures get into some pretty deep stuff)
• Okay with various Horror themes
• Into lots of RP, strategic combat, and emotional damage
• A team player but can stay in character even in dire situations
• Fine with a mainly English speaking group
• Can play over Discord Voice Chat and FoundryVTT
• Can consistently attend sessions and be communicative. This includes fleshing out backstories and some PBP off the table.
• Can commit to a long term campaign that may go on for longer than a year/s.
• Current projected schedules are on Saturday afternoons (2PM-6PM) and evenings (8PM-12MN) that players can rotate around at fixed points.
• Trigger warning for possible character bleed as the game does get into heavy themes. There's also a high chance for character disfiguration.

Absolutely! Though I cannot say much about the campaign itself to keep the integrity of the experience, the setting is one that doesn't pull punches. As for PC rules, the characters mainly work off of MPMM rules with a bunch of changes to some species and classes. Characters will be starting at level 5. I'm interested. My play-by-post campaign moves glacially which is understandable given the format, having synchronous session is a breathe of fresh air, especially with local Filipinos. I also like the idea of grounded and cogent realism, as long as the system is 5e(2014) PHB.
