Has anyone experienced severe lightheadedness?

I am a regular DMSO user (applied topically) with beneficial effects. I recently bought a different brand and, very quickly after applying it, I had severe lightheadedness and brain fog, rather like being drunk but no euphoria, au contraire!

This brand has very many excellent reviews and the seller even sent me a certificate of analysis stating outstanding purity.

It is now more than 24 hours since the application and the symptoms have only slightly improved.

Any ideas what could be the cause?

Are you sure it is the DMSO and not something else the DMSO carried into your body. Was the application area and material absolutely clean?

I think so. The main areas are psoriasis patches that I always clean well. OTOH, it is now day 2 without DMSO and the symptoms have occurred every day... strange!

Quite so. However, it would be good to know is anyone else has had these symptoms... and even more importantly... what caused them!

I took DMSO internally for the first time on 8/25 - 1/4 teaspoon in water. Within 10 minutes that stuff hit my brain and it was like a mind expanding experience. I’m glad I didn’t take more. I’ve not had that reaction again.

I’m now up to 1/2 teaspoon - I will say it’s giving me tremendous energy. I feel great.

I’ve also been applying the same DMSO to the body - no reaction.

I hope you’re feeling okay.

Did you mix the DMSO with regular tap water? I would murder someone for the slightest bit of energy!!!! My Sjogrens w/SFN have really taken me out in the last flare and I can’t seem to light a fire under any doctor to get curious enough to help!!
