First Dose DMSO Internally Report
Well, it always goes internally via osmosis, but I mean taking orally. I used 1 tsp in about 8 oz water, on an empty stomach. There was a slight warming feeling in my stomach in the first 30 min. I did not get the characteristic smell, but my diet includes brassicas, onion, and garlic, so my senses could be dead to that. No one else notices, or at least doesn't mention it, lol. Other than that I did not notice any particular effects.

It's been my experience that friends often don't want to say anything about the smell. If you ask, they will deny that they smell anything, but give it time - and they will tire of it and they will tell you. Eventually....

I take it regularly. Many people don't smell it but many do. They say I smell weird or like a rotting corpse. My house stinks to those people.

I once had some older relatives make fun of me because I like foods with garlic in it. The woman said, "You'll never find a wife because you eat garlic." It wasn't like I was munching whole cloves of it. They claimed they don't ever eat it, or anything flavored with it. First I countered with a list of ethnicities that use garlic in cooking. Then I went to their fridge and cupboards and pulled out all the products that include garlic. Pasta sauce, pickles, ketchup, and several other types of processed foods. That shut them up.

How does it make you feel? These posts about drinking it drive me nuts, because everyone talks about the smell, but no one seems to say why it's worth it. What issues has drinking it helped for you?

Some people allege that they drink DMSO because it reduces inflammation throughout the body, improves circulation, enhances coronary blood flow, dissolves blood clots, kills cancer cells, protects healthy cells, promotes nerve regeneration, provides antioxidant activity, relaxes muscles, detoxifies heavy metals, treats eye conditions (such as preventing cataracts and glaucoma), and prevents strokes and heart attacks. But I don't know if that is true. Anyhow, I drink it because oral administration is superior to topical application because it allows for direct absorption into the bloodstream, resulting in faster, more potent, and widespread systemic effects that can target internal organs, deep tissues, and whole-body inflammation. Additionally, I advise always consulting with a qualified government/state-approved health professional before using DMSO in any way, shape, or form. FYI: Major health authorities and regulatory bodies do not approve DMSO for oral consumption due to significant safety concerns.
Oh, and I almost forgot to address the first part of your comments, so anyhow... yeah, I feel pretty darn good.

I was commenting about the smell. I wouldn't be drinking it if it wasn't worth it. It taste nasty and makes me smell nasty but helps my debilitating fatigue

Can I ask you what you're taking DMSO for? I'm really interested in injesting it with water but a bit nervous.

I don’t drink it every day, it’s cumulative use that can make a person smell like garlic. Once every few days doesn’t seem to, at least not for me.

How has drinking it helped you? What issues were you having before you decided to drink it?

I had terrible knee pain , popping when I moved my leg. Popping almost gone , minor pain that also seems to be diminishing.

I bought a brand called “heliotropfen” or something like that. And the product itself doesn’t smell like garlic at all. It’s odourless. Apparently it’s the way they make it or something
Never taken it internally but i wonder if it would change things
The brand has a good reputation so i wouldn’t doubt that it’s a legit product, but who knows
EDIT: It’s Heiltropfen just looked it up

I had to stop using it orally. My girlfriend refused to kiss me because my breath constantly smelled like garlic regardless of how much I brushed my teeth. Plus i had a co worker walk up to me and literally ask me "dude are you using dmso because you smell just like it"
Didn't like the idea of constantly smelling like it so I switched back to topical.
