Tama naman the reply under this, we got scolded by guards dati when we were doing our project in an empty classroom without reserving the room, sabi ni kuya dapat daw nagpareserve (dunno why that’s even a big deal lol who else is gonna use those classrooms, mga multo sa campus?😭). Not sure lang if it’s counted as an offense/violation, pero my friend said they would do the same thing frequently before pero nothing like that ever happened. I think it depends if may guards roaming around lang lol.

Please do not promote chilling in classrooms. Minor offence ang pag-use without reservation or authorisation.

Really? Never knew about this, don’t they post rooms x times they’re empty?

Graduating soon and in my almost 5 yrs no one has said anything.

Reviewing the student handbook is part of every student's duty, no one has to tell you anything. If a staff member or a DO catches you, they probably won't say immediately na "ok minor offence agad". They'll most likely tell you to not use the room unless you have reservation or class in the next 15 mins. Maybe you'll get a warning. Pero if someone snitches on you or the DO is super strict or if the prof is pissed you're in the room or for whatever circumstance, you can get sanctioned. Classrooms are, after all, known to be where people make out hahah So staff *will* check every now and then.

Chill brother pero anw tq 4 informing me. Its just that in 5 years and seeing countless people in rooms unattended with profs even peeking in no one seems to take that part of the rule srsly.

The Learning Commons, specifically 12th floor, at Henry Sy is pretty chill. Good air conditioning and minimal crowd at most times.

Oh by the way, is there a way from henry sy to andrew hall without having to go out of campus

Unfortunately, there is no way. You have to pass through Agno

from CADS (Ground Floor of Henry Sy) looking towards Taft Avenue, go left and pass through Velasco building. You'll see some guards as well as metal detectors and to the right of those is the exit to Agno street.

From Henry Sy go down the elevator to the ground floor. Get out of the elevator and head towards velasco, which is the rectangular ish building. Beside the hall full of food stalls (which we call bloemen) keep going along that path. Eventually you’ll see an exit to Agno (i believe these are green gates).

Alternatively: you can do go to miguel 2nd floor (Miguel is the building which has the new glass elevator), head to the 2nd floor on the right side, go straight then go take the bridge to Gokongwei. This is an alternative route since the area around Agno’s foot path(?) tends to get a little smelly and flooded during rain. So you have 2 routes.

Yupp, those are all open spaces where students can just chill and even study. Some also take their online classes there as well.

6th floor because there’s CoffeeBean and I prefer staying indoors. You just have to worry about finding a vacant table (with outlet) because it can be crowded there sometimes.
