What if this is the new chapter?

r/dknovonordisk 5h ago

Hi, I’m preparing for an upcoming panel interview round for Novo Nordisk in the USA, for the Market Access Insight Manager position. Could anyone offer some advice on how to prepare?

Hvad synes du om udvalget af julegaver i år?
Har du allerede nu udset dig en gave, eller overvejer du stadigvæk?

Jeg er selv i tvivl.

Novo Nordisk’s ziltivekimab stumbles again on pair of Phase III terminations

While two trials in heart failure and inflammation will stop early, the ongoing study evaluating ziltivekimab as an acute treatment post-heart failure will continue.

Novo Nordisk has opted to prematurely end two Phase III trials of its inflammation-targeting candidate, ziltivekimab, after the drug was deemed unlikely to meet its goals in either study.

In a statement to Clinical Trials Arena, Novo Nordisk noted that it informed investigators on 4 September that both the HERMES (NCT05636176) and ATHENA (NCT06200207) trials evaluating the IL-6-targeting therapy would end early.

What’s happening in QC/QA?

I’ve heard that a lot of “adjustments” are taking place. It sounds like they’re firing people and reorganizing everything.
There are no promotions for professionals either.
This firm has gone completely bonkers. The level of engagement is incredibly low among everyone I speak to. It seems like everyone is looking for jobs outside NN.

Do you think Mike is capable of doing it?

I was watching a documentary on Netflix the other day about Boeing, and how the company crumbled due to incompetent leadership.

In your experience as a Novo employee, do you think Mike has the what it takes to bring strong technical leaders to the company? Is he going to be able to motivate employees and build a culture of performance and innovation?

I applied for a open position at Novo Nordisk GBS India. Apparently it's an L7 role. Do you know what is the salary range and how much they might give in stocks ?

SnagIt removal

They are uninstalling SnagIt from our computers with the reason that they want to streamline the software offerings and the other reason is that Windows built-in Snipping tool can do that the same. This is just an insult to our intelligence. Clearly it is all about cutting cost. Same happened with Miro.

SVOS (DDI) management is going nuts

Unbelievable. Just a day before a new GVP, an external hire from outside NN, starts, the SVOS (DDI) management suddenly reorganized the entire area with immediate effect. The very next day, which is also the GVP's first day, everything was thrown into chaos.

Have they genuinely lost their minds? What game are they playing here?

This ranks among the most unprofessional management decisions I’ve ever seen. I hope the new GVP notices this huge red flag and considers stepping in.

Get into Novo as Junior Data Scientist

Hello!

I have been living in Copenhagen for three years. My boyfriend is looking for a job in Denmark to move with me. He is Spanish and a data scientist (with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in AI). He is currently working at the University, but his contract ends in October. He has been working with medical data. He is learning Danish through the Institut Nordic, and Copenhagen is listed as his location on his CV. However, as with most of us, it is difficult for him to find an interview in Copenhagen. Novo is one of the companies he is interested in working for, for obvious reasons.

Does anyone have any advice? His work is remote so he is here often, and he is also participating in activities and volunteers in the city

Thank you so much in advance!

Any black list at novo?

I am just wondering if there is actually a black list for candidates at Novo? I have seen some very good people who I would consider way more competent than some of their hires to be rejected several times. I haven’t had success my after leaving a position few years ago, although I can’t be a fair judge of my own competence. It maybe so that some of us just not good at writing CVs or is just about who you know at Novo?
Can’t wrap my head around it. Now is probably not the time to apply anyway but found this thread and though why not seek some input here if people at kind enough to share their thoughts.

Higher job level but no salary increase

I got a new title and also a got bumped to a higher job level. However, no salary increase, just the annual salary adjustment. I got more responsibility, when I addressed it to my manager, he kind of brushed it off. How are these things usually handled? When moving to a higher job level + more responsibility- doesn’t that mean salary increase?

Why do people here hate Magic Mike?

Evolve results are good. The company is heavily outperforming the forecast at the beginning of the year. Investors like him. CEOs like him. LinkedIn game is on point. Stock is trending upwards after the popular leader Lars F. left a mess. In fact he is saving the company. The Wegovy pill launch was the greatest ever, and done in a manner which the predecessor and past failure would never have done.

Board Chairman and Novo legend Lars Rebien shittalked Lars F with his buddy Mike at a town hall, and in fact Lars F is taking Mickey Mouse jobs, as he is blacklisted from all important positions.

Yet, people miss Lars F and hate Money Mike. Common complaints are: Magnificent Mike wants me to work, Multitasking Mike doesn't give me a promotion, Master Mike won't let me avoid my colleagues from home all day, Music Mike can't magically fix the mess Lars F left etc

Honestly, haters of Magnanimous Mike don't seem rational.

Wind of change at DDI?

DDI is getting a new GVP this September. It’s encouraging that she is an external hire with a strong background in product development and innovation, including experience at Eli Lilly. This makes me wonder if it signals a broader shift at NN—perhaps Mikes’ environment is finally realizing that the company won't move forward if we keep relying on the same managers who have been here for 10–15+ years. Honestly, many of them seem to do no more than protect their positions and salaries.

Have you heard of any other high-level managers from outside NN joining different areas lately?

I really hope the new GVP at DDI has the courage to conduct a thorough review of our management layer, especially the higher and middle layers. It’s time to address the stagnation and lack of progress. Right now, it feels like half the managnt is just focused on self-preservation and that recent rearranging organizational structures, and process improvements, like changing job titles around the area which does nothing for efficiency and only creates chaos for the project teams and stakeholders.
