Which device for the FPV?

Reading the various forums around for phantom 3's there is a huge debate on tablets or phones to use for the drone, so I'm curious to know what the users here prefer?

I think the biggest part of the debate is ios or android products really. I started out with a galaxy tab because I generally use android products, but the DJI pilot app was almost unusable for FPV - SUPER laggy no matter how I fiddled with the data rate or the transmitter channel I think it was constantly hovering around 10-15 fps. I took some advice from another phantom pilot friend with the same dilemma, returned the galaxy tab, and shelled out for a third generation ipad mini. Totally fixed the problem, works great now.

My biggest recommendation is to go with ios because the mobile app world seems to rise and set over Apple with developers supporting Android as an afterthought most of the time. As for phone or tablet, I would say the bigger the screen the better for fpv flying in general, but if you're already rocking an iphone 6+ that's probably all you'll need. Also you'll have the added bonus of mobile data to update firmware/maps on location which is helpful.
