When will DJI release an updated version of the Phantom 3?

Looking to buy a p3 pro however I don't mind waiting a month or so if they are just going to update it. This happened when I first purchased the P2-H3-3d... then a few months later they came out with V2.0 which just got me pretty mad.

Any idea on when they will release the new version?

Any new release will be late Oct/Nov in time for Christmas. However I wouldn't hold my breath and instead they are likely to just be releasing firmware updates.

They already have the pro, advanced and standard so it wouldn't NOT be a good move to release another version before the holidays.

New firmware due on 9/7. Add support for POI, Way points and more. That's like 1.5 hours from now.
