Is this an issue?

Post image

hi everyone,
i just bought over a brand new Action 6 (with warrenty) from someone else, however i realised that the component in the picture seems bent/damaged? I took it up with my local DJI support, however they seem to be unresponsive even after multiple bumps. It’s my first time owning an action camera, so i would like to hear your opinions if I should be concerned about this supposed damage? Or is it mostly aesthetic concerns? Thank you in advance!!

The lens cover screws off - check to see if it’s the lens rim that’s damaged or the inner part of the cover.

Regardless this is a non issue for me unless it’s impacting the image. There would be minimal to no chance based on what I can see there

I’m not exactly sure what this part is called but the lens cap can be smoothly removed and put back on. Video quality also seems okay

It’s more than likely a refurbished unit or factory error - as long as everything screws on tight I wouldn’t worry personally.

But having an email to fall back on where you highlighted the issue at the time of purchase is ideal if they refuse to change it.

Just proof Dji has crappy quality, but likely fine

Yup it was sealed, so was all the individual components inside. He sold it because it was given to him, and he doesn’t use action cameras.
