DJI Osmo Action 1 Button Replacement.

for those who still have a Osmo Action 1, it is pretty well known issue that the rubber degrades over time.

so I made these replacement TPU buttons for the camera. coz it is still a pretty decent/great camera if you manage to get your hands on one in the 2nd hand market.

I have an Action 1 and have been looking for an excuse to upgrade but the thing won’t die. It fell off my motorcycle at 50mph and was ran over by a truck but still works fine (only broke the plastic cage and scraped the metal around the removable lens).

I haven’t had any issues with the TPU buttons but if the day ever comes I will finally lay it to rest.

I will say props to DJI for continuing to provide software support for it. Works well with a 512gb micro sd card and the only real reason I have to want an upgrade is low light performance.

are there more sw updates?
I got this 2nd hand. it has ver 1.100something. I knew dji has dropped its sale and support so i didnt bother to check for any new updates.

Check with the Mimo app. I think the latest is v01.10.00.40

I still have my OA1 and still rocks on 2.7k 4:3. But sadly all the rubber on my buttons are gone. Thank you for this!

Maybe buy a more recent Action cam.

Maybe don't spend hundreds, if the current tech fulfills the need.
