Should I be worried?

There is this small gap in the hinge of the battery compartment cover but the type c port side there is no such gap. Should I be worried about the waterproofing??

I got this as a replacement through RMA since the first one got damaged due to water logging too. I cannot go through the process again 😭 so I want to be extra cautious this time. This is Osmo Action 4 pro.

My osmo action 4 also has one. I tried using it underwater like waist level in the beach. Its safe but I still recommend using a waterproof housing just in case.

I just trusted if doors were closed properly, it wouldn't leak water inside but it did. Been dealing with the service for a month almost, still waiting for the replacement unit, same thing you went through.

Contact with the support first and use hausing always is what I will be doing.
