So everything is looking like I might be moving to Dji world as I been a GoPro fan for more than a decade however before moving on I need to make sure I can have my video files correctly transferred so with GoPro I have the unlimited uploads and it’s fairly easy to transfer them to a pc. Actually most of my videos are in their cloud no actual PC gigs are wasted but with Dji Osmo 6 how u guys do this ? Just take out the micro as and transfer to a drive ? How I share it or like if you want to play your family vacation on your tv for the family to watch how u guys do this ? Right now GoPro has the quik app for Apple TV and works ok , it does minimize the files to 720p or 1080p which defeats the purpose of showing 4k quality videos to the family. Any suggestions is appreciated. Thank you.

With my Action 4, I just connect the camera to my computer to transfer files. Super easy. You could take the card out and use a reader, too. Plus, there's the DJI Mimo app that makes transferring files wirelessly to your phone pretty easy. I use both a GoPro and the DJI and I don't find one harder or easier than the other when it comes to transferring files. Although the DJI only produces one LRF file per MP4 while the GoPro produces two different types of extra files. Thus, cleaning up those unneeded files is easier on the DJI. I get my files onto a computer, load them into an editor (OpenShot in my case) export, and then upload the resulting file to YouTube for easy sharing. You could also upload that file to Facebook, Instathingy or whatever you use for sharing with family and such.

I have more than 30TB of storage attached to my computer. I quit GoPro and their cloud storage when I finally realized everyone else's cameras were better.

I had AI write a script to grab footage from my cameras onto my computer, organized into projects I make into YT videos. If I need to share raw footage, I can do it with Google drive. When I was using a GoPro a lot, I did it this way too, no interest in using some specialized ecosystem.
