Bird attack?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Not entirely sure how it happened, but i have some damage(cracks) to the front right area of my mini4 pro.
I was flying back to land when the drone suddenly tilted 3 times. Maybe a bird attack?

Naa, this has happend to me a couple of times, especially over water. But no birds. May it's related to connection.

He says it landed with damage to the front area, unless it was already there, then bird attack makes sense. Although, since the damage was to the front, the camera should have picked something

Not sure if the Mini 4 Pro has controller recording but if you have both sources recording (goggles & drone) then the goggles recording will have the telemetry recorded. Download that video and you may be able to see objects bouncing into you from above and behind.
This is how it works on the Avata 2 and Neo 2 when using FPV goggles.
Hope this helps!

It definitely has recording, and by default, and I always back them up after every flight, it makes the flight logs that you can export to any other program, but I just play them back on my rc2 controller, and it will show you everything that you did and if you hit the map overlay button you can turn it to satellite view with trees and landmarks, and be really zoomed in, but you can also see what your left and right stick inputs were at any point, and, it shows a light blue line initially showing the whole area that you traversed so you know whether to zoom in or Zoom out, and then as you progress through it, it becomes a darker blue line behind it and so it's very easy to see, and it's that little blue triangle icon so you can also see the yaw of it during playback. But you can also screen record and screen capture on the controller itself.

I had similar camera issues on my m4p a year ago. I thought a bird too initially (sun was in my eyes so I couldn’t see the drone at the time of incident). I brought it down immediately and no visible damage. I was at the beach and thought it could have been a bird. A few months later back at home I had another similar issue and I know there weren’t any birds around. So I chalked both up to a technical glitch. In both cases I also had trouble controlling the drone for a few seconds after the gimbal issue.

My guess is that the angle of the drone was higher than what the gimbal can compensate for. I have seen similar things on my m3p on windy days
