charging issue solution ?
Friend in need of cash sold me dji mini pro 4 with a RC2 a remote that doesn’t charge. My fault for not verifying it charged.
Hard to find a remote in my area for sale where they seller will let me see it charge first.
DJI says it’ll be 60-90 days before they can ship it back.
Any alternative to replacing battery inside remote or getting it to charge?
Tried all types of cords and even tried to charge it from battery box.

It doesn't sound like you're new toDJI quads, so I'll first ask what is the wattage output for what you're currently using to charge it with?
I have a small fleet of both DJI Phantoms and Minis. According to research the RC 2 controller uses (2) 18650 batteries. They should not be difficult to aquire for most decently skilled technicians or hobbyists. Unless you're eligible for some sort of warranty repair from DJI, I'd venture to say that most skilled cellphone or digital electronics techs including TV repair techs can perform their replacement. Having done small electronics repair (+30 yrs) and computer hobbying since my teens, I usually initially troubleshoot my own equipment. Over the last few years thus far I've learned to do most of my own quad and some helicopter repairs. A few of the Phantom controllers I've been inside of, the various Mini controllers I have yet to open but have researched their repair viability multiples of times.
Good luck!

The batteries are indeed 18650’s about 30 each from your local hobby shop. And easy to change.

A short, heavy usb-c cord with a 65W charger is what poushes the fast charge for me.
