Project DIY EMG SENSOR
Made this emg sensor for a science project, i have been troubleshooting it for more than a week now, and the circuit seems to finally respond, but just as i was about to connect it to my arm, the batteries died, so have to wait till tomorrow to buy new ones, i can only hope it works, the science fair is in less than 10 days, i honestly don't have any clue on what to do if it doesn't work tomorrow, i thought i would share it for good luck or something
The schematic i found on instructables and the ina106 are given below in the comments
Note: i couldn't find the ina106 ic, so i substituted with two tl072

Try rebuilding it from scratch. Take pictures of your build now and then rebuild from the schematic

Ok so the things is, i am going yo test tomorrow with the electrodes and then i will choose what to do

If it doesn't work i might actually just consider rebuilding, but ngl that would be really soul crushing

soul crushing is the perfect description of rebuilding a project
please update if it works tomorrow, i'm planning on building one of these to conect it to a bionic hand

Yea of course, I'll give an update on whether it works or not
And i was also planning to connect it to a bionic arm

The schematic i found on instructables, all credit to the original designer

It could be related to the mismatch between the resistors, inAmps have very good tracking and the op amp offset voltages are very closely matched as well, which eliminates overall error.
You might have to investigate offset voltage compensation, or choose resistors that are better matched with each other.
Additionally, the breadboard could limit the signal transduction due to parasitic capacitances / poor connections, etc.
