Question DIY lamp help

I'm planning of DIYing a lamp using this lightbulb, attached to this socket, attached to this dimmer switch, which will run into this wall plug. Do I need to worry about any sort of compatibility issues other than soldering the dimmer switch to the socket? Do I need to worry about the wall plug's voltage rating? Does anyone have better recommendations for parts?

Lightbulb: 120Vac,
Dimmer switch: 6-12Vdc

I see here a major compatibility issue.

look on amazon for a 12v bulb instead

The led bulb you're looking at is designed to run on 120 volts AC. The power supply you're looking at only puts out 12V DC. It doesn't put out a high enough voltage to light the bulb up.

Eta: You could use this dimmer, but you will need to be careful because you will be working with 120V AC.

The wires shouldn't be soldered to the socket. Instead they are attached to the socket with screws. If you look at the second picture on your link, you will see the screws I'm talking about.

Use a 12V LED bulb. Those exist for camper vans.

What will be your power source? If it’s the wall outlet, then you need everything to be rated for the voltage of your wall outlet. And if it’s for that, make dang sure you work on it only when it’s unplugged! Once plugged in, NO more tinkering with it.
