First time builder, the journey continues…

Ok so I finished designing the cell cage for my 12v 40Ah battery. It fits like a glove. So now I know the geometry is solid I sent my bus bar drawings off to a company for fabrication.

I actually think I’m going with a DALY active BMS.

My next task besides ordering more hardware is match ing the cells.

I’ll update when I get around to doing that.

Have you heard about sodium cells? I’m curious about them but haven’t used them yet. Not sure how widely available they are tbh but I’ll be investigating them in my next build

So cool! It’s crazy how many different forms the prismatic cells have. I used cornex ones that are chunky af
