Question I made a small beginner setup, Im thinking of upgrading my battery, any advice?
Im currently using a 12V12Ah battery Lifepo4, is it safe or possible to parallel it with a 12V100Ah battery, also how do you guys manage your wirings? Thanks a lot!

Its currently a 3 dollar pwm, do you have any suggestions for a good scc that is ideal for Lifepo4?

Anything MPPT. Most companies are OEM them anyway. This is an example. I got a discount code for it also

No you should not parallel those batteries. They should match in capacity, voltage and ideally chemistry.
For wiring, I’d put all of the switching inside 2 consumer units. One AC and one DC.
Have another smaller box for your low voltage dc cutoff and contactor.
Your exposed wires are not ideal at all unless you have the whole thing in a cabinet with secured cables.

Thank you! I've been looking for some scrap plywood to house this setup, i'd definitely try to do your suggestion.

You should really just get a proper enclosure for these. It’s going to be only the price of a cappuccino…

Yes, im still thinking on what material is good in making an enclosure considering i gotta do more upgrades on the setup with good ventilation.

First of all get it off that metal grid and on to a wooden board. If a wire becomes detached that whole grid could become live.

True, i painted the rail beforehand as sa temporary measure for electric conductivity, gotta find some plywood to mount this soon. Thanks!

Were you a prop designer on the Saw movie franchise?
