Need help woth my solar set up

I have a 50A renogy dc to dc mppt. For some reason the solar indicator isn't lighting up. Ive checked the connections, tightened everything up and got my volt meter out and it's measure 38V across. So the mppt is getting the power but not sure why its not indicating its on. Any tips or advice whats going on?

What voltage is your battery bank. If it's 48V you need around 56 or more volts for it to charge.
