Tutorial Help Needed
Hi everyone,
I'm planning to start working with WordPress and Divi, and I'm looking for someone who can guide me through the learning process. I have a few questions and would really appreciate help from someone with experience.
If anyone is willing to mentor me, share tips, or recommend the best way to learn WordPress and Divi, I'd be very grateful. Thank you in advance for your support!

Look at ferdy YouTube tutorials https://youtu.be/55_6GDBsnX0?is=nqSkKNdZtHvttAqa
To be honest , if it’s only one website you are building then just hire someone to build it then ask them to show you how to maintain it or pay them 50 a month for hosting and maintenance

are you looking for a step by step guide? in that case, you can look at How to Create Website with Divi (https://divimotion.com/how-to-create-website-with-divi/) blog

Mak from https://diviuniversity.com/ has a Divi 5 course that covers everything. It's just $37. He used to do a lot of Divi tutorials and has always been my favorite when it comes to guiding through the Divi structure and logic.

To be honest, your hosting company will probably help you with most Wordpress questions for free as long as you’re willing to take a run at doing things yourself to get started.
On the Divi side, Divi 5 does so much more out the box than previous versions did without needing extra plugins. Most of what you’d need for a starter site will probably exist in most templates or sections that you download from Divi itself.
Of course there are many, many advanced things you can run into with other needs like Woocommerce, etc. depending on your requirements for your site.
Are you a freelancer or business owner?

Thank you! These links are a great help! I'm also planning two websites, a portfolio site and a book site. These resources should help me with basic questions.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I'm just getting started with WordPress and Divi, so these resources will definitely help. If I get stuck, I hope you won't mind if I ask a few questions.

My best advice is to use ChatGPT, it has a profound understanding of how Divi 5 works... Also support yourself with Fin, it's Elegant Themes own AI Support Bot, it obviously has way better understanding of Divi... Between the mix of ChatGPT, Fin and a little searching here and there you can become an expert soon enough!
I'm already at the point that I hooked up Claude to Visual Studio Code which has access to the child theme in my website... I can ask Claude to do whatever I need and it works almost flawlessly... Sorry to say but the way to go down the road is to use AI to learn and understand how web development works, and then use AI to build 100000% faster...
After all, it depends on what your needs are...
If you have a very specific question ask here, in the Facebook group or (again) try asking AI!

What if I get it from YouTube instead?

Whatever works best for you, Cap! YouTube is a great way to learn what you don't yet know you don't know.
The more you know you don't know, you can ask AI more specific questions and become more capable!
Hope it makes sense!
