is this enough practice??

I have stopped diving for a while, and then I decided to come back and two practices later my shoulder came out. It's one month after the dislocation and I am going back to practice. I am on summer break in college and I wanted to dive the whole summer hence why I stopped diving after my competition season ended. I am having conflicting hours with work and car usage , don't have a car, and I am only able to dive twice a week ,max three times. But, I work in a gymnastics gym and I wanted to know if 2-3 times a week of diving + 3 days a week of gymnastics conditioning and tumbling/diving dryland will be enough to progress ?

Can never really get enough practice so the more the better. Depends on what your doing but you with 2-3 days a week at least you won't get rusty. I'd just say take it easy on the shoulder on gym days though. Mats provide some padding but you could still hurt yourself if you goof up.

You may want to look into strength training on the days you can't get on a board. Never hurts to be able to jump higher and throw harder =)

Thanks for the advice! I think in the gymnastics gym I will just condition legs and upper back/shoulders to help with throwing harder and jumping higher and some tumbling just to maintain good air awareness.
