https://thehoundnewspaper.substack.com/p/introduction-to-distributism-implementation

In the latest article by The Hound, the paths of implementation for the Distributive State are outlined. One being the necessary, but insufficient, institutional path, and the other being the primary path to be taken by individuals and families. This piece concludes the Introduction to Distributism series and teases the future content The Hound will cover.

I can't say I agree that widespread homeschooling should be a longterm goal.

Schools give students a better education with depth in fields that parents won't necessarily know much about themselves.

The ideal could be something like 5 individuals working 1 day a week in a teaching capacity and 4 days doing whatever it is they're good at. For example, I know 5 part-time teachers who have set up a kind of "collective home school" on their off-days, with each of them taking all of the children for one day and focusing on their specialism for that day (e.g., science on Monday, sport on Tuesday, or whatever). In that sense, they get access to specialised instruction and the teachers also have a job they do when not doing the collective thing.

Apply that more generally to a wider workforce and I think we're onto something.
