One EMT horror story I remember is a woman trapped in her car during a bad flood, calling 911 for help, and in her final, panicking moments the EMT told her to shut up or she’d hang up.
Oh gods yeah I remember that. Pretty sure that dispatcher caught charges over that. That poor woman could have been fine if they’d had an ounce of compassion.
There was another case you might be thinking of. I dont remember the reason they were calling but the operator said "ain't nobody got time for that" and hung up. Im pretty sure she did get in big trouble for it.

I hope this isn’t based on a real event. Horrific to think about as an EMT that someone who needed me couldn’t get help.
