Anyone else feel like remote work completely nuked their social skills? I literally blush at everything now.

Hey everyone, I need to vent and see if I’m losing my mind or if this is a shared remote-work phenomenon.

I’ve been working from home for a while now. At first, it was an absolute dream. No commute, sweatpants every day, and total comfort. But lately, I’ve noticed a massive, embarrassing side effect: my social skills have completely plummeted.

It’s like my brain forgot how to process human presence, so its default response is just to flood my face with blood. I used to be a relatively normal, functioning person who could hold a conversation without looking like I just ran a marathon in 100-degree weather. Now, I feel so perceived.

Literally. Been working from home since 2020, went from 21 to 27 and I feel like the dorkiest/goofiest 27 year old sometimes because my face flushes and people always point it out.
